RPZD & TMV testing

Reduced pressure zone devices and thermostatic mixing valves, installed, tested and certified.

Heading

RPZD backflow prevention

Reduced pressure zone devices (RPZDs) stop contaminated water flowing back into the drinking water supply. We install and commission RPZDs to the manufacturer's specification and complete the annual testing required to keep them registered with TasWater.

  • Supply and installation of RPZDs to manufacturer specification
  • Commissioning and initial certification
  • Annual testing to keep the device registered with TasWater

TMV testing and certification

Thermostatic mixing valves need regular testing to confirm they're still delivering water at a safe temperature. We test, service and certify TMVs in line with AS 4032 and the facility's risk management plan.

A TMV that drifts out of range is a scald risk nobody notices until it becomes a problem. Regular testing catches it first.

Scheduled retesting

We can set your site up on a scheduled retesting programme so certificates don't lapse. Reminders go out ahead of each due date and records are kept for your compliance file.
